Merry Little Christmas

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas

Text : Hugh Martin
Music : Ralph Blane

Have yourself a merry little
Christmas
let your heart be light
Next year all our troubles
will be out of sight

Have yourself a merry little
Christmas
make the Yuletide gay
Next year all our troubles
will be miles away

Once again as in olden days
happy golden days of yore
Faithful friends who were
dear to us
will be near to us once more

Someday soon we all will be
together
if the fates allow
Until then, we’ll have to
muddle through somehow
So have yourself a merry
little Christmas now

This is Libera’s version of Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.  Light and burdensome at the same time.

Anyway,  Christmas should always be that time when you stop for a while and let the joyful sounds and light warming your heart once again.  Merry Christmas!  🙂

Cheers,
Lydia
